Construction

We started this project in 1999, and finally after three years the work was complete. The guesthouse was officially opened on 01 November 2002.

Information & bookings

• Located on the beach, 136 kilometers south of the capital Colombo.
• 500 m from Ahangama train station.
• Excellent licenced restaurant with wide range of Sri Lankan and Western meals.
• Airport pick up arranged for €50 for up to four people. Surfboard transport no problem.
• Price from euro 17 to 32, please see booking page for more details.
• We arrange sightseeing daytrips or longer if desired.
• From November to April conditions are ideal for surfing and snorkeling.

Rooms & Facilities

• Fully furnished with double bed, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, coffee table, chairs (indoor and outdoor), drying racks.
• Personal safe in each room for added security.
• Telephone with IDD facility.
• Individual balconies with every room.
• Own spacious bathroom with hot and cold water, and shower.
• Snorkelling equipment available for rent.

Surfing, Surfboard Rental and Instruction

• Several good surfspots very close by - The Rock at Kabalana, Lazy Lefts at Midigama, Rams and many more. Suitable for surfers from beginner to advanced levels. We will try to guide you to the most suitable places depending on your ability and surfing interest.
• A range of boards available for rent from 6'6" short board to 9'0" long board.
• Cost is 550 RS or €4,40 per day per board.
