Just got back from another great trip to Sri Lanka and Easy Beach. Nine days of excellent morning surf - clean, 4-6 ft faces (occasional overhead plus) and no currents. Photos in the surfers of Dubai photo gallery at http://gallery.surfersofdubai.com. Easy beach Guest House once again were superb hosts .

Have just updated the Guestbook software - hopefully all that spam will stop ...
Reset the posting interval to 1 hour between consecutive posts. See how that goes. I'll remove it if the spam stops.

A bit late adding an entry here but we had another great trip in April 2006. Excellent to see the AEBGH team again as usual. Lots of waves, great company, great food, great beer, great relaxation. Looking forward to the next one .
There's still obvious devastation in the aftermath of the tsunami, and the current political situation doesn't help. But keep visiting there and spending your tourist money. It's a great place to surf!

GREETINGS All
Just got back from Easy Beach and your money raised has made a huge a difference.Although hardly any surfers are there it is operating as usual, and all the staff there are so happy to be working and being able to support their families.
The locals along the entire coast desperately want tourists to come back and spend money, and with the monsoon season approaching things will be horrible for so many who are still living in shelters or tents. They have no job no income and little hope. No one knows when the Government is going to move them inland as most are not allowed to rebuild and have to be resettled away from the coast.
Keep giving, your generosity will be appreciated, if anyone wants some photos of the places let me know
JB

We've had some great times staying at AEBGH over the past couple of years (I think twice a year since you opened?) and really looking forward to getting back there sometime. Probably won't see you out there until October/November 2005 since no breaks before then that work out .
Hope you're getting better waves than us silly SODs in Dubai !
